Joe Winston
Founder

Joe is a native Richmonder educated in Henrico County Public Schools. He went on to graduate from the University of Richmond with a degree in business and marketing. Recently Joe received the University of Richmond’s 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award. This award recognizes his individual contributions to his alma mater. Joe served as Chair of the School of Continuing Studies Deans Advisory Council.

After graduating from the University of Richmond, Joe worked for a Fortune 200 company, Owens Corning Fiberglass. He worked as a marketing executive and was awarded the sales manager of the year award by the National Association of Home Builders. Joe eventually went on to found the Doctor of Techno-Marketing in 1997.

Joe is very active in the Richmond business community. In 2007 he chaired the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce total resource campaign. Joe is also a former member of the Chamber’s board of directors. He is the former Chairman of the Henrico County Business Council and a member of the board. In 2009 Joe became the Founder and President of the Henrico County Business Leaders. Their mission is to provide access to business and civic leaders while promoting active participation for people interested in retaining business and improving Henrico County.

Will Winston
President

Will graduated from Longwood University with a Marketing Degree in May 2004. Since the beginning of the Doctor of Techno-Marketing in 1997, Will thought it would only be natural to go work for the Doctor after graduating. After a summer internship with his father during his junior year, his father informed him he had different plans. Will went into his senior year with one set of instructions. Graduate and go work for a big company!

After graduating Will went to work for a company synonymous with the color brown. He moved himself to Virginia Beach to begin his Career with UPS in October 2004. In his first year of work at UPS the Doctor gave Will another set of instructions. Work for UPS for a minimum of five years and then we will talk about making this a family business. Take in a much sales training as you possibly can, enhance your business acumen, learn how big companies operate, do well, etc. Will began his career as a Sales Representative and experienced two promotions to Key Account Executive and Senior Account Executive. October 18, 2009 marked five years for Will & UPS. On October 30th Will resigned and got one more set of instructions from the Doctor. Will is working as President and is living in Richmond. Will is currently working to grow the business in the Tidewater area.

Nancy Eaton

Nancy is a Richmond native. Nancy’s experience in promotional products began in 1989. In 1993 Nancy met Joe and they immediately hit it off. For several years Nancy and Joe worked together. In 1997 Nancy and Joe combined their promotional product expertise and founded The Doctor of Techno-Marketing. Nancy currently holds the position of Customer Service Manager and works closely with clients and suppliers.
